This painted green-eyed beauty with raspberry pink lips has a fluttering mechanism in her back that would make her the perfect doll for any fairy, angel, sprite or elf creation. The windup mechanism has an on and off switch and a little hook that could be used to hang her. Having her flutter her wings hanging as an ornament in a Christmas tree would be really fun. She has a straight waist, straight ballerina arms, bending legs and high-heeled feet. Her hair is in it's original short ponytail with pink band. Cute, lightweight vinyl, 11" tall mermaid with molded purple fins, purple saran hair and a glitzy removable bikini top. She has lavender painted eyes and lavender pink lip color accenting a white toothed smile. Her skin tone is brown. Her arms are straight; her waist twists loosely and is molded to sit easily. This ponytailed brunette is Flying Butterfly Teresa. Mattel introduced her in year 2000. She has a windup mechanism in her back with a tiny on-off switch that flutters a pair of clips that hold wings. She is missing her wings but I think a clever person could make her some new ones that would work. Her hair is in its original ponytail, she has a straight waist, ballerina arms, bending legs and high heeled feet. Her eyes are painted hazel, her lips are pinky red and her cheeks are blushed. This pretty contemporary 11½" tall Barbie has a windup mechanism in her back that makes a couple of clips flutter - perfect for a custom angel or butterfly. There is even a neat little hook to hang her from. Because of the internal mechanisms, her waist is straight and tiny. Her legs bend; she has high-heeled feet and the newer ballerina arms. Besides Barbie doll's acclaimed beauty, this recent Mattel Barbie doll is all about the hair. A foot long hank of honey blond grow hair is manipulated by a beaded string from her back but she also has lovely waist length wavy tresses styled from two rolled ponytails on the back of her head. She has lavender painted eyes outlined with dark liner. Her slightly parted lips are pink. She was not made to wear earrings or ring so there are no holes in her ears or hands. She has the straight waist and smaller breast of the belly button torso dolls, molded low-rise panties, bending legs and high heeled feet. The fingers of her hands are separated. Black hair, red lips, pale skin and a sultry expression describes this 2003 Bratz doll, Stylin It Jade. Marked with the MGA Entertainment marks she has a hard vinyl head and body with softer vinyl legs and arms. Her rooted black saran hair is streaked with brown and falls past her derriere. It's embellished with a few small braids and straight bangs. She has huge, kissy dark red lips and big brown painted eyes in her oversized head. I would describe her torso as being small in the shoulders and breasts but comparatively voluptuous in the hips. Her tiny waist is straight and she has an itty, bitty belly button. She was not made to wear earrings or ring so there are no holes in her ears or hand. She is missing her feet/shoes but they are still readily available at toy stores. This green, vinyl alien comes from my own collection. He stands 14" tall with flat, three-toed feet that are 2¾" long. He is very heavy with a slit in his tummy and in his head that open to hollows in the inside; perfect little hiding places for more aliens. The alien is marked in the middle of his back, "©1997 R. Marino/Made in China" He looks like your average alien though I haven't been able to figure out who he is or who R. Marino is either, for that matter. I just think he is the neatest creature - the perfect alien companion for any fashion doll of any size. He is in very good condition with only a small scuffmark on one black eye. 1996 Ocean Friends Barbie has soft and shiny, straight blond hair thick with big pale blue and green painted eyes, pink lips and large pink button earrings. She comes with many of her original accessories including her scuba suit, snorkel, tanks, specimen bag, flash light, one flipper, a wrist wrap and brush. Her black scuba leggings are actually color change paint, which changes to a nude color when warmth is applied. She has a twist waist, molded patterned panties, ballerina arms, non-bending legs and high-heeled feet. She is in excellent condition as are her accessories. This pretty 12" is from the Italian company Giochi Preziosi, which translates "Precious Gift" I believe she is a Walking Tanya. If you press the small button in her back and hold her hand, she walks with a tiny whirring sound by moving one leg in front of the other. She requires one AAA battery to make her work, which is not included. The battery compartment is clean. Her pink high top shoes and socks are molded on her feet. Her silky, white-blond hair falls straight to her midback. Her facial paint shows off the quality this company puts into their dolls in the extra care that they take to give her feathered brows. Her body, including her arms and legs, are hard, shiny plastic, which dresses easily. She is in excellent, working condition. | $5.00 #A83 |

This large headed Barbie-type doll is a Diva Starz doll produced by Mattel in 2001. She is supposed to talk and interact with other Diva Starz dolls. Catalogs show that she comes with very large shoes, molded snap-on clothing and accessories. I can not figure out how to turn this doll on (possibly in her very large shoes) but she does have a battery pack in the back of her hard plastic head as well as sound holes in the base of her head. Her soft, blond crimped hair is rooted only at a small vinyl patch on the top of her head but it falls all the way down to the backs of her thighs. She has real eyelashes framing huge painted eyes. She is about the same size as a Barbie doll and I've scanned her next to one for comparison. Her legs bend and her feet are flat. She has molded patterned panties. Her waist is straight and does not turn instead her toned belly sports a cute little belly button just made to show off midriff baring fashions. She also has the newer type arm style. Both hands are very gracefully posed. She has the classic bend knees and high heeled feet. She has a very realistically painted face with green eyes, pink shadow and lips. This generic 11½" fashion doll has a very nice smile, dimpled pink cheeks and large painted eyes. Her body is light weight; arms are straight with palms to the rear and small hands. Her waist twists and knees bend. She has high heeled feet. Her ash-blond hair is curly and somewhat frizzed. She is marked "1993 Lucky Ind. Co. Inc./Made in China/1211530A." This doll has a very soft and squeezy midriff so perfect for the midriff baring outfits. Her squeezy midriff is similar to, but not the same as, the new style straight waist. She also has the newer type arm style that is slightly different from the arm style I call "ballerina arms." The newer style is a bit longer in length, lies a little closer to her body and has a couple of separated fingers. Her hips are wider than the classic Barbie doll but her knees still bend as usual and her high-heeled feet are the same. This doll has two-tone blond hair that falls straight and smooth to her derriere with long bangs falling from a center part that are caught in a little ponytail under the back of her head at the nap of her neck. Her eye paint is blue with pink accents and her lip color is a frosted pale pink. I'm not sure if this doll came with earrings. This doll is in excellent condition. Nude. | $6.00 #A39 |

This soft midriff Barbie is also called the Belly Button Barbie because her midriff was designed for outfits that showed off Barbie's cute midriff. Her arms are slightly longer than the ballerina arms but every bit as graceful. Her hands are also a bit larger. Her waist twists inside the soft midriff maintaining the modeled contours of her waist that is just like real. 1991 Sparkle Eyes Barbie is one of my personal favorites. The blue rhinestones in her eyes and her blue eye shadow give her huge eyes. Pink lips and pale blush add color to her pretty face. Soft, flossy, blond hair falls past her derriere while the hair on the top of her head is cut shorter to give her "BIG" bangs. She has bent arms, a twist waist, bend legs and high-heeled feet.
